I trained at King’s College London, graduating with Triple Distinction in undergraduate medicine and a First-Class Honours for a BSc in physiology. My surgical training was undertaken in the Wessex region, where I was awarded the Sir Walter Mercer Gold Medal in Trauma & Orthopaedics in 2014 and subsequently appointed as the BOA Young Ambassador. I was also awarded the McLeod Medal in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2015 and I am currently a current Member of the Faculty of Sports & Exercise Medicine.

My professional interest include all aspects of knee surgery including sports injuries:

  • Arthroscopic surgery and all related arthroscopic procedures
  • Meniscal surgery including meniscal repair and transplant
  • Cartilage surgery including complex osteochondral allografting
  • Ligament reconstructions around the knee from primary ACL reconstruction to complex multiligament cases including revision
  • Realignment osteotomy around the knee
  • Patellofemoral surgery
  • Knee replacement, partial knee replacement
  • Revision knee replacement

 

    Hip surgery

  • Hip injection and diagnostics
  • Cemented total hip replacement
  • Uncemented total hip replacement
I have broad experience of teaching from undergraduate level to international lecturing and presentations. I am the Research lead for the Department of Trauma & Orthopaedics, Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust and a Research Fellow at the University of Winchester.
