Mr Fox has been a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester since 1999. He was appointed as a lower limb surgeon with a special interest in all types of knee surgery. He is a highly experienced and popular knee surgeon, having been established for over 13 years with busy NHS and private practices based in Winchester.
Mr Fox undertook undergraduate medical training in Bristol and basic surgical training in Plymouth. He was Registrar and Senior Registrar on the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Program. He gained extensive experience in the management of elective and traumatic orthopaedic conditions, specialising in the later years of his training in the lower limb and knee surgery in particular. His final training was on a one year International Knee Fellowship in Brisbane, Australia.
Mr Fox specializes in surgery of the knee, including soft tissue work and arthroplasty. He has a major interest in ACL reconstruction and has lectured on international ACL training courses. He undertook Fellowship training in Brisbane, Australia treating injuries in recreational, representative and elite athletes.
Mr Fox offers all forms of knee arthroplasty, including unicompartmental, and minimally invasive techniques.
