I started my professional training in Emergency Medicine, before completing an MSc in Sports, Exercise and Musculoskeletal (SEM) Medicine. I completed the SEM training program in London and throughout this time period, worked with the RFU as a doctor for a number of different teams, as well as teaching on their Pitchside Course and working in the matchday medical room at Twickenham. Following completion of my training, I worked at UCL teaching on their master’s programme and seeing patients within their NHS SEM clinics.
In 2020, I took up a full-time role with the RFU working with the Women’s Senior rugby team, before taking over as the Men’s team doctor in 2022, when I also started my role at HHFT. I continue to split my time between the NHS and England rugby, covering competitions and tours, and holding face to face clinics in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover.
